Lent does not mean ” Gnawing Hunger “, but cooking and enjoying something special and escaping the stress of everyday life. Even the bishops in the Middle Ages knew to feast despite the “fasting food”. Together we will cook delicious fish dishes and vegetarian delicacies that leave nothing to be desired. You will be looking forward to Lent!

 

Friday:

Arrival in our hotel. Now relaxation is the order of the day. Let your soul unwind and recharge your batteries. Pamper your body and spirit with a relaxing visit to the salt cave. Experience the natural healing powers of the Himalayan salt. Wrapped up in warm blankets you can now sit back and look at the sparkling starry sky and the gentle wellness sounds while taking in deep breaths. Our swimming pool and the sauna are also available for relaxation.

Close by the hotel are many good walking or hiking trailsIn the evening we spoil you with a delicious dinner and, fitting during Lent, with different strong beers. With tales and Anecdotes from Franconian villages and Lent we will prepare you to have an entertaining evening.

 

Saturday:         

Enjoy our rich breakfast buffet in a cozy Atmosphere, before joining fish farming with Mr. Kleinwechter 3 km away in Schönarts. During a tour you will learn how to fish properly And prepare, filleted, fried and poached fish. We take the fish which we prepare in the evening and it becomes a delicious 4-course menu

After returning to the pension we will serve you coffee and home-baked cakes before we start fully refreshed to work together to conjure up a delicious menu. All together, we prepare both fish and vegetarian foods to tempting delicacies that we then enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere.

 

Sunday:         

After the rich breakfast buffet you will return back home with a lot of knowledge of fish, with tips and lots of recipes.
