Friday:
Arrival in our house in the afternoon. We serve you welcome coffee and home-baked cakes. Afterwards you can make yourself comfortable in your room or relax in our swimming pool or sauna from arrival. Directly from the house you can easily go for a walk in the unspoiled nature. We have many hiking suggestions ready for you.
In the evening you will get to know our characteristic Franconian wines during a wine tasting in the house. We spoil you with 6 wines of all quality levels and a hearty snack with cheese and homemade butcher sausage. With so many good feelings we let the evening end comfortably!
Saturday:
After the rich breakfast buffet you drive together with our “grill master” Mr. Kleinwechter Sodenberg. He shows you the probably largest grill of our ancestors – the basalt crater – with an indescribable view into the Rhöne and the Steigerwald. The nature reserve is home to many rare plants that you discover t on a hike to the Sodenberg.
Do you know how the Sodenberg got its name? Mr. Kleinwechter tells the story on the way! Are you hungry yet? We return to the Guesthouse “Zur Rossmühle” directly at the Franconian Saale
on the way back. The various treats on the Menu are agreed before the upcoming evening Together we prepare barbecue delicacies, because Summertime is barbecue time: it is happiness to gather with friends and family around the garden barbecues and celebrate the basic right to charred sausages. We do it differently!
Together, prepare with Mr. Kleinwechter delicious grilled fish, meat, vegetables and surprise salads and shapes with appropriate drinks and a good mood for a fun barbecue. you will be be convinced: never again charred sausage!
Sunday:
After the sumptuous breakfast buffet, you will be well taken care of with many new ideas and recipes for cozy barbecues at home.
